THE OFFICIAL ARTWALK OF NEW MEXICO

The Albuquerque Artwalk serves as the heartbeat of New Mexico’s creative scene. By uniting artists and facilitating collaborations, our platform transforms the ABQ Arts & Cultural District into a block-by-block arts experience, bringing creativity directly to the community.

Through our monthly downtown event, we aim to support both local artists and businesses. Every ABQ Artwalk is an opportunity to celebrate New Mexico’s creative culture and provide space for businesses and creatives to engage with the local community and visitors of New Mexico.

November 2026:

ERIC ROMERO

Each month, we spotlight an artist previously featured with ABQ Artwalk. This month: Eric Romero.

A self-taught painter, Romero combines bold color and metaphorical imagery to explore the history, culture, and mysticism of Nuevo México. Drawing on Catholicism, mythology, and the realities of life in New Mexico, his work reflects the stories and spirit of his community.

Explore more of Romero’s work online and find his artwork on this month's ABQ Artwalk map!
